Tirth Purohit , Badrinath Dham

Purohit, in the Indian religious context, means family priest. The word is also used synonymously with the word pandit ,which also means "priest". Tirth Purohit means the Purohits who site on ford of the holy rivers or holy tanks, who maintained the records of the forefathers of the Hindu family from thousands years back.

Pandas are worshiped by Pilgrims of the same area of each region they offers. Every Panda plays a significant role in any Pilgrim's life while he arrives Devprayag or Badrinath for Puja or Darshan. While they arrive Badrinath, Pandas look after them very carefully. Pandas organize everything for their Yatri like food, accommodation, puja's tickets, and everything which is really needful to the yatri. Pandas have a thousands years of literature of their devotee(Yatri). In this literature, every information is mentioned about Pilgrim's last 3 or 4 generations.

Badrinath Dham

Badarinath Dham is considered as one of the most sacred centres of pilgrimage situated in the lofty Himalayan heights in the Garhwal hill tracks Uttarakhand). Situated at the height of 3133 meters above sea level. The route to Badarinath is one of the most fascinating one due to the lofty hilly terrain, curves and cliffs amidst the most scenically beautiful place on the earth.

At Badarinath Lord MahaVishnu is believed to have done his penance. Seeing the Lord doing his penance in the open, Goddess Mahalaxmi is believed to have assumed the form of Badari tree to provide him shelter to face the onslaught of the adverse weather conditions, therefore the name Badari Narayan.

BIHAR & JHARKHAND

My  experience : we communicate to our pilgrims (tirthyatriyon)  with their own regional language bhojpuri, maghi. We like their regional language and rituals very much. Bihar is a place of rituals. This place has its own impression on Higher education and politics. I pray to Badrivishal for its progress and devolvement.
